0. World Before What was it like before the plot started moving?
1. Sensing Disturbing element, something is changing that calls the character to act.
2. Faith The character answers the call (leap of faith) or is forced to answer it (pray to endure). The plot progresses forward, building up tension.
3. Judgement The character is tested, they must prove they have evolved since starting the quest, or something bad will happen.
4. Expansion Climax & Catharsis, the character is transformed, and tension is resolved.
5. Creation The world is in a new state, and the character has become more mature.

ARC One act of the story, collecting multiple chapters, which transforms characters and contribute a significant progress to the plot. Is subject to a thematic whole.
CHAPTER A fragment of an arc, collecting multiple scenes, in which the plot moves forward and characters are tested around the theme of the arc.
SCENE A fragment of a chapter, collecting multiple beats. Complete one thought of the story (e.g: they prepare, they execute the first part of the plan, they finish…)
BEAT The smallest measure of meaning. Something happens.
SHORT REST A moment of respite during an arc when the characters momentarily stop pursuing the objective. They have a moment to breathe, heal, think, resolve emotional blockages that prevent them from moving forward.
LONG REST A moment between arcs that serves as a reward to the character for completing the arc, develop the themes in a more relaxed way.
